Shipping Policy

Made to Order Processing

Each candle at Georgia Mountain Candle is handmade to order in our mountain workshop. We don't keep inventory — every candle is poured fresh specifically for you when you place your order.

This means we require 5-10 business days to craft your candle before it ships. This processing time allows us to pour, cure, and package your candle with the care and attention it deserves.

Understanding Your Delivery Timeline

Processing time (5-10 days) + Shipping time (2-3 days) = Total delivery time

For example: If you order on Monday, your candle will be crafted by the following week and arrive approximately 12-13 business days after your order.

Please note that during holiday seasons or periods of high demand, processing times may be slightly extended. We'll notify you if this affects your order.

Shipping Methods

  • Flat rate shipping to the continental United States
  • Shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service)
  • Typical transit time: 2-3 business days after your order ships
  • Tracking number provided via email when your order ships

You'll receive an email notification with tracking information as soon as your candle is packaged and handed to USPS. This allows you to follow your order's journey from our workshop to your door.

Shipping Costs

We charge a flat rate for shipping to keep things simple and transparent.

  • The exact shipping cost will be calculated and displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase
  • Shipping is charged per order, not per item
  • No hidden fees — the price you see at checkout is the final price

Delivery Area

We currently ship to the continental United States only.

This includes all 48 contiguous states (the Lower 48).

We do NOT currently ship to:

  • Alaska
  • Hawaii
  • U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, etc.)
  • International destinations

Lost or Damaged Shipments

We take great care in packaging your candles to ensure they arrive safely. However, sometimes issues occur during transit.

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging if possible
  • Email us at georgiamountaincandle@gmail.com with your order number

If your order never arrives:

  • Check your tracking information to see the latest status
  • Allow the full expected delivery window (processing + shipping time) before reporting
  • Contact us at georgiamountaincandle@gmail.com with your order number and tracking details

We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, whether that means sending a replacement or issuing a refund. Your satisfaction is important to us.
