Welcome to Our Workshop Journal

February 15, 2026

We’ve been dreaming about starting this journal for a while now. Between pouring candles, mixing fragrances, and packing orders, there’s so much we want to share with you — and this feels like the right place to do it.

Why a Blog?

Georgia Mountain Candle started at a kitchen table with a double boiler and a dream. Every candle we make is still hand-poured to order, one at a time. That process is slow and intentional — and we think that’s what makes it special.

This journal is where we’ll pull back the curtain on our little workshop in the Georgia mountains. Expect posts about:

  • New scent launches — first sniffs and the stories behind each fragrance
  • Candle care tips — how to get the most out of every burn
  • Behind the scenes — wax tests, wick experiments, and the occasional candle fail
  • Seasonal inspirations — what the mountains smell like in every season

What’s Coming Next

We’re working on a guide to getting the perfect first burn from your candle (it matters more than you think!). We’ll also be sharing the inspiration behind our spring collection — think wildflower meadows and morning rain.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Every order we pour means the world to us.
